The AAII Local Chapter in Pittsburgh, PA, meets regularly on the 3rd Tuesday of odd-numbered months, September through May. The featured speaker normally begins at 7:30, occasionally preceded by a 6:30 "Basic Training" session on fundamental concepts and practices for individual investors. Each January we focus on an "Annual Economic Review," and in summer we have our annual "Picnic in the Park" investing workshop. We offer additional "Saturday Seminar" investing workshops as opportunity arises.
AAII local chapters, grassroots organizations led by volunteer AAII members, allow the national organization to reach individual investors, "person to person," in their own communities by delivering programs of unbiased investment education in a social context.
All Special Interest Groups (SIGs) meet separately, at the Comfort Inn, with the exception of the "Getting Started" group, which meets at the Sewickley library.
